Alcala de Hanares - Trasnfer to Madrid Barajas.
After breakfast, weather permitting, we go out for shopping, before getting on the private minibus that takes us to Madrid Barajas airport to return home.

Distance: 55 km, Ascent: 300 m, Level: easy
Tomajon – Guadalajara.
The fresh morning air gives us the stimulus and energy to face the last stage of our itinerary.
We get on the pedals and, leaving the mountain behind, we enter the vast plain of Castilla.
Crossing immense cultivated fields and small agricultural villages, we head towards Guadalajara.
It will be a pleasant and relaxing day of cycling that will take us to the end of our tour.
Once we arrive in the capital of the province, we take the time to visit the city and have a “Jamon Tapas” sitting in some bar in the historic center.
In the early afternoon we transfer by public transport to the town of Alcala di Hanares.
Just a few more hits on the pedals and our bikes will take us to the hotel where we started the tour. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Dinner will be at a traditional restaurant.

Distance: 59 km, Ascent: 1040 m, Level: medium
Condemios de Arriba – Tomajon.
After breakfast, we start the day uphill and uphill to the village of Valverde de los Arroios. The stage passes through wooded areas and takes us further inland, where small and characteristic villages with houses built of black stone are hidden in the heart of the mountain. We enter the very famous tourist “Zone of Black Architecture”. “Los Pueblos Negros”.
Arriving in Valverde de los Arroyos, the largest and most unique village in the area, we stop to visit it and take a lunch break, before taking the road towards Tomajon.
Following the state road for a few kilometres, sometimes slightly uphill and sometimes slightly downhill, at the end of the stage we let go of our bikes on a long descent that ends at the entrance to Tomajaon.
A rural hostel hosts us for the overnight stay.
Dinner will be in a nearby restaurant which will offer us a “Caldo Calgliente”, prepared according to the special recipe of the Lady of the House and an excellent grilled meat.

Distance: 60 km, Ascent: 1050 m, Level: medium
Siguenza – Condemios de Arriba.
To be full of energy and face today’s stage, we need a good breakfast before getting on the pedals.
We start downhill to cross the town and shortly after face the first climb.
The road takes us to climb over one of the hills surrounding the town and then brings us out into the wide plain of cultivated fields, from where the Sierra Norte of Guadalajara can be glimpsed in the distance. A beautiful and lesser-known mountain in Spain.
Following the country roads and even pedaling a bit on the asphalt, we end the stage in a beautiful rural house, located at the foot of the mountain.
At dinner we enjoy dishes prepared based on traditional mountain cuisine recipes, accompanied by the best Spanish wines.

Distance: 51 km, Ascent: 1000 m, Level: medium
Cifuentes -Barranco del Rio Dulce - Siguenza.
In the morning, even before getting on the bikes, our guide will accompany us to the historic center, to tell us the history and mysteries of the small town of Cifuentes.
Today’s stage is pleasant and quite easy. We start slightly uphill to then enter the countryside, passing through small villages. At a point where the road narrows, we take a beautiful downhill single track, which will take us to the Rio Dulce Natural Park. A very pleasant ride follows in the canyon carved by the river.
We stop in the village of Barbatona to fill our bottles with water, before setting off on the last stretch of the stage, which takes us to Siguenza.
Siguenza is one of the cities richest in history in all of Spain. We cannot miss visiting the ancient castle from the 12th century and listening to the story of our guide, illustrating the curiosities of the past and the legends.
After the visit to the castle, our guide will accompany us to the historic center, to show us and tell us about the riches of the town.

Pastrana – Cifuentes
After a good breakfast accompanied by various types of home-made jam, we set off for a few kilometers on a short stretch of asphalt road which will subsequently take us onto the dirt road in the middle of the fields of Castilla la Mancha.
Cycling through fields of crops, woods and small villages, we arrive in the area of the Tajo river lakes and by lunchtime we reach a small but very characteristic village, where we stop for a break.
Rested and replenished with energy, we continue pedaling in the Fields of Castilla, where centuries ago Cervantes was inspired to write the famous novel “Don Quijote de la Mancha”.
In the late afternoon we arrive in Cifuentes. A small provincial town, which preserves a rich artistic heritage.
Time to shower and enjoy a pleasant nap in front of a beer at the bar. Dinner in a restaurant serving typical Alcarrean dishes.

Distance: 60 km, Ascent: 1030 m, Level: medium
Alcalá de Henares – Pastrana.
After breakfast we begin the first ride of our adventure on the roads of Alcaria.
e pedal out of the city and then take a slightly uphill dirt road that crosses some olive fields and takes us to visit the church built in the 16th-17th centenary after Christ. Here we stop to catch our breath and to listen to the story of our guide who introduces us to the history of Alcaria. We enter the church to admire the beautiful frescoes created by the masters of painting in the 17th century.
Just for lunch time, when the water in the bottles starts to run low, we will arrive at a famous wine cellar. We stop to taste some local wines, accompanied by the flavors of the typical products of the protected area of origin.
Recharged our batteries, we begin the longest, but most exciting ride in today’s stage, to arrive at the Ducal Village of Pastrana.
A very nice hotel will be our accommodation for this night.
We go out to visit the historic center of Pastrana, which has so much to discover. Our guide will tell us the story of the Princess of Eboli and of Spain since the 16th century.
Dinner will be in a nearby restaurant, famous for preparing typical dishes of the area. It is a restaurant that strictly represents the tradition and gastronomic quality of Pastrana.

Madrid Barajas - Alcallà de Hanares
Once we arrive at Madrid airport we transfer to the beautiful city of Alcalá de Henares.
Alcala is the native city of Miguel de Cervantes. Furthermore, Alcalà has remained in history as the place where the first University City in the world was built.
After checking into the hotel and accompanied by a guide with a degree in art history, we enter the historic center of the town to learn about its most important monuments, curiosities and history.
In the evening a restaurant offers us dinner based on typical products from the Madrid area.
