Arrival in Sofia
Meeting with our guide at the airport of Sofia.
Transfer by minibus from Sofia to the town of Samokov, at the foot of Rila mountain. Around 1:30h travel.
Accommodation at a family run hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Musala - the highest peak of the Balkans
Breakfast at 07.00 hours.
Transfer to the resort of Borovetz - 1300m.
Ascend by cable car up to the ref. Jastrebetz - 2300m.
Ski tour to the summit of Musala - 2925m (the highest peak of the Balkan Peninsula).
Reaching the highest point of the Balkans around noon and downhill to the ski resort of Borovetz - 1300m (not very good skiers can leave their skis on the last steep slope below the summit and continue the ascent on foot).
Transfer by minibus to the hotel in Samokov.
Visit of the ancient monastery of Women and the downtown.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Maliovitza
Breakfast at 07.00.
Transfer to the town of Maliovitza - 1700m. Approximately 1 hour of travel.
Ski tour in one of the most beautiful valleys of Rila mountain to the peak of the same name: Maliovitza - 2774m.
Ski descent (along the ascent route) to the town of Maliovitza - 1700m.
Transfer from Maliovitza to the town of Bansko. Approximately 2-3 hours of travel. The picturesque town of Bansko has been the stronghold of the Bulgarian Renaissance during the period 1700-1800 AD. In recent years, it has also become the most modern and largest ski resort on the Balkans.
Accommodation in a family-run hotel.
Dinner at the restaurant “Bariakova Mehana” that offers delicious dishes typical for the area. The restaurant has won gold award for the best cuisine of Bulgaria. The evening will be enlivened with live music.

Shiligarnika and the peak of Todorca
Breakfast is at 06.30.
Transfer from Bansko to the resort Shiligarnika - 1750m. Approximately 12km of travel.
Ski tour to the peak of Todorca - 2746m. From the summit there is a beautiful view over the whole chain of Pirin Mountain.
Ski descent into the Banderitza valley to the village of Shiligarnica - 1750m, or, if snow conditions allow, to the town of Bansko.
Visit of the historic town of Bansko.
Dinner in the typical restaurant “Bariacova Mehana”.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

The highest peak of Pirin Mountain - Vihren
Breakfast at 06.30.
Transfer to Shiligarnica - 1750m.
Ski tour to the highest peak of Pirin Mountain - Vihren - 2914m. It is the most beautiful ski tour in Bulgaria. According to the legend, the peak of Vihren is of the god Perun - the god of the ancient Thracians.
Ski descent to the village Shiligarnica - 1750m. and in case of good snow, down to Bansko.
Afternoon dedicated to relaxation, shopping and leisure.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Gotze Delchev mountain hut and the peak of Bez Bog
Breakfast at 07.00.
Transfer of approx. 30km to the Gotze Delchev mountain hut.
Ski tour to the summit of Bog Bez.
Ski descent to the Bez Bog mountain hut and then to the Gotze Delchev mountain hut.
Transfer to the town of Bansko and return to the hotel.
Afternoon is free.

Rila Monastery
Breakfast at 07.30.
Transfer to the Rila Monastery: the largest and most important monastery of the Orthodox Christian Church, after the monasteries of Mount Athos in Greece.
Visit of the monastery and the cave where the first community of monks was born, founded by St. Ivan of Rila.
Lunch in the restaurant of a family owned farm where all dishes served on the table are prepared only with products made at home.
Transfer to Sofia.
Visit of the Bulgarian capital with a tour guide.
Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.

Transfer to Sofia airport and international flight.
